Side show. Peeps, like military and such, taking oaths on the person instead of the constitution is the sort of stuff you want to watch out for.

I don't really care because Andrew Jackson is on currency so being on currency doesn't necessarily mean being honorable apparently.

@chrismoody The penny isn't even worth the copper required to make one. Putting the Orange One's face on it would only further diminish it's value.

worth noting that the proposal was to put him on a $250 bill - in Chinese culture, β€œ250” is used as an insult, referring to β€œfool”, β€œstupid one”, etc. fitting.

Why not? There are so many countries where the current leader is on currency.

Could someone tell him that we can't put a currently serving president on the currency so to put his likeness on the currency, he needs to either die or quit? Let's see what choice he makes.

he is a megalomanic maniac, this is the least harmful of his ideas. I wonder how long it will take for the USamericans to get off their buns and not take anymore of this crap.
Starting with the 05th of March something that used to cost 1$ will have to cost 2$ in order to give the same profit with 25% tariff. I wonder how much the americans will like the price encrease - will be good to put a face to it though, so go ahead, print the idiot to currency.
